I took a collection of scraps carved random lines and started stamping. Sprayed with dylusions spray and then let it dry. I then gave it a misting of perfect peals mist. I will cut this apart for the swap.

Block print
Here is my image stamped with versafine on white mixed media paper
Same image stamped on the same paper with speedball block printing ink. I applied the ink with a brayer and took the image facing up with the paper on top. I rubbed the paper on the block making sure to get the entire image. I pulled the paper off from the top towards myself. The ink is sticky. After taking the printed image I hung them all to dry for a few days.

Mailing LTCs cheaper in a 4 1/8 x 9 1/2 envelope
If the cards are flat it is easier to mail in individual pockets made by staples, however if the cards are thick, have embellishments, etc.- that is tricky. So to mail the cards in a normal envelope for under a dollar.
Start with 2 envelopes
Address both of them. Add one forever stamp to the extra one
Include a forever stamp and a 21 cent stamp for extra postage.
Start with a plain piece of paper fold into thirds
Add the thickest cards or the cards with embellishments tape.
Cover those cards and tape down.
Fold the paper and add 3 more cards to the flap- tape down
Because there are thick objects cover with a small piece of bubble wrap and tape
Add cards to the top of those- tape
Fold the last flap and place into the envelope
Mailing LTCs cheaper with 6x9 envelope
Supplies needed by host and participants
Here are 10, but I will be mailing 12. Some of these are flat, other have texture, some are pretty heavy, all are in covers.
This card has a 3D jewel so it goes in the middle.
Over lay the card making them spread out
Keep adding them. From the center then rotate out.
The last card goes in the enter.
Cover with another piece of scrap paper - I tape one end. Put it into the envelope
This mails for 2 forever stamps. Add a self addressed stamped envelope and you are ready to go.
If there is a lump in the envelope just add some cotton balls over it or a small piece of bubble wrap.
Don't cover the entire envelope with tape. It will make it cost more.
Bits and pieces
After being inspired by a blog post that I saw that I want to creat a card with scrap pieces of carving block. So I took a handful of scraps and free carved.
